Two Slingshots, one convoy, up to 4 people

Group Convoy is our group package for birthdays, bachelorette outings, and small groups of friends who want to drive the Ennis Bluebonnet Trails together — $139 per vehicle, new for 2027. Our fleet is two Polaris Slingshots, so a convoy booking means up to 4 people (two drivers, two passengers) riding side by side in the same 2-hour window.

It's part of our Slingshot rental lineup, and it exists because group outings — a small circle of friends, a birthday crew, a bachelorette weekend — are one of the most common reasons people book a Slingshot ride, in Texas and everywhere the category has taken off.

What's included

Each vehicle needs its own driver, 21 or older with a valid Texas driver's license — no motorcycle license required, since the Slingshot is classified as an autocycle under Tex. Transp. Code §521.085(b). Only drivers go through approval; passengers just show up. Full detail on age, approval, and policies is on Requirements.

How a group ride actually works

Both Slingshots leave the Ennis Welcome Center together and drive the Bluebonnet Trail route as a convoy — not a guided tour with a lead vehicle, but two cars on the same route at the same time, so your group can stop together for photos and stay in sight of each other along the way. Each driver gets the same orientation and supervised practice loop as a solo or two-up booking before the group heads out.

If your group is larger than 4 people, let us know when you book — we can often set up a second 2-hour slot the same day so the rest of your group rides too.

Good for

• Birthday celebrations. A group ride through the trails, with a photo stop built in, works well as the centerpiece of a birthday outing.
• Bachelorette-style outings. Small groups of friends looking for something more memorable than the usual bar crawl or spa day.
• Friend groups and couples doubling up. Two couples, or four friends splitting into pairs, riding the trails together.

If it's really just the two of you, the standard Bluebonnet Trail Experience or the sunset-timed Golden Hour Date Night might be a better fit and a lower per-person cost. Add a Bluetooth helmet ($25 each) so both drivers can talk to their passengers along the route, or the photo add-on ($39, new for 2027) for extra guided stops.

Why we cap it at two vehicles

We could promise more than our fleet can actually deliver, but we'd rather be straight about it: two Slingshots means two Slingshots, not a five-vehicle caravan. What that buys you is a manageable, close-together group experience — both cars leave together, drive together, and stop together, so nobody's left waiting for a straggler or losing sight of the group on unfamiliar rural roads. If your group is bigger than 4, we'll work with you to book a second same-day slot rather than overselling a single one.
