Rental Terms

The short version

This page summarizes the key terms that apply to every Ennis Slingshot Experience booking in plain English. It isn't a substitute for the full rental agreement you'll review and sign at the time of booking — that document governs your rental. If anything here and the signed agreement conflict, the signed agreement controls.

Who can drive

Drivers must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license. No motorcycle license is required — Texas classifies the Polaris Slingshot as an autocycle under Tex. Transp. Code §521.085(b), and a standard Class C license covers it. See our FAQ for the full explanation.

Driver approval

After booking, we send a driver-verification link. Approval typically clears within 24 hours. If you aren't approved, you receive a full refund.

Insurance

Comprehensive insurance is included with every rental. Your maximum out-of-pocket exposure for vehicle damage or theft is $500.

Rescheduling

You can reschedule your booking free of charge if you do so at least 7 days before your original date, subject to availability.

Weather & cancellation policy

We operate rain or shine unless conditions are genuinely unsafe to drive. If we cancel your rental due to weather or a mechanical issue, you won't receive a refund, but you'll be offered a full reschedule at no additional cost.

What's included

Fuel and comprehensive insurance are included in every package price. Helmets are provided; a Bluetooth communication helmet upgrade is available for $25. No security deposit is required.
